Keeping lilies fresh in Bali’s climate

Lilies are naturally long-lasting, and a few simple habits keep them looking beautiful in the tropical heat. Trim the stems at an angle every couple of days, change the water regularly, and keep the arrangement out of direct sun and away from fans or air conditioning. One florist’s secret: gently remove the orange pollen from the anthers once the flowers open, as it stains petals, linens and clothing.
