Keeping gerberas fresh in Bali’s heat

Gerberas have famously thirsty, hollow stems, so they reward a little care in a warm climate. We recommend a clean vase with only a few centimetres of fresh water, topped up daily, and a spot out of direct sun and away from the draught of an air conditioner. Snip the stems at an angle every couple of days and your gerberas will hold their bright faces for a week or more.
